About the HSI Facility Role Administrator (FRA)

All facilities must designate an HSI FRA, designating backup HSI FRAs is highly recommended. A management level facility resource (i.e., Director) is responsible for designating your facility’s FIRST HSI FRA.

HSI FRA Responsibilities

Complete HSI FRA training.
Use the HSI Facility Role Administration Tool (HSI FRAT) to manage access to the HSI platform for staff at their facility.
- Enable user access to the HSI in a timely manner, see workflow for enabling access.
- Disable user access to the HSI in timely manner (i.e. staff termination).
- Coordinate with their facility’s ONE® ID LRA to ensure users' ONE® ID accounts are set up in a timely manner.
- Verify HSI user identities and appropriate access through your facility's normal communication channels.
Report privacy or security breaches and adhere to your facility’s Privacy and Security policies and the HSI End User License Agreement.
Disseminate HSI communications to facility stakeholders, field user inquiries and escalate issues.

Tip: We recommend facilities leverage an existing ONE® ID LRA to take on HSI FRA responsibilities.
