The Stroke Report provides an overview of the stroke system performance in the province. The Report is used to inform system planning, decision-making and change implementation based on best practice. The goal is to use the evaluation to facilitate better outcomes for patients with stroke and their families.
The Stroke Report is divided into five chapters. The Annual Business Priority Chapter focuses on the indicators that are on the Annual Business Plan, while the other chapters focus on an aspect of the stroke care continuum. All chapters will have data at the fiscal year, while the Annual Business Priority chapter will also have data at the fiscal quarter.
Indicators can be visualized at the provincial level, Ontario Health region level and where applicable at the hospital (site) level.
