About Mental Health and Addictions Provincial Dataset (MHA PDS) Dashboard

The Mental Health and Addictions Provincial Data Set (MHA PDS) dashboard provides the first view of key data points on community and outpatient MHA service delivery across Ontario. This dashboard includes data collected in MHA PDS 1.0, originally released in 2021 by Ontario Health (Mental Health and Addictions Centre of Excellence).

The dashboard is updated monthly and is designed for OH, partners, health service providers (HSPs) to view data for the MHA PDS collected up to the end of the previous calendar month.

Intended Audience

Content

The dashboard utilizes data from the MHA PDS, standardized, client-level data routinely gathered from community and hospital outpatient MHA service providers.

The dashboard aims to support answering critical questions regarding client demographics, service utilization, client journeys, and accessibility of care, enabling stakeholders to make evidence-based decisions and plan for future service delivery improvements.

Filtering options allow users to visualize insights relevant to their specific areas of interest and population needs (e.g., OH region, clinical program, functional centre).
