About the Surgery MSK Dashboard
The Surgery MSK Dashboard supports the Ministry, Regions and Rapid Access Clinics (RACs) in understanding how well they are meeting the provincial access targets and key performance indicators outlined in their conditions of funding. The report focuses on wait times and volumes currently for Hip & Knee Replacement as well as other non-wait time metrics related to central intake.

This report measures the following performance metrics:
- # of Patients referred to Central Intake Assessment Centre (CIAC)
- # of Patients seen by APP
- # of Visits not resulting in surgeon consult
- # of Patients referred to specific surgeon
- # of Patients referred to specific hospital
- # of Patients referred to next available surgeon
- # of Surgeon consults
- # of Follow up visits
- Hip and Knee Replacements average and 90th percentile wait times in days
- Wait 1A – Wait time between Central Intake referral date and assessed date
- Wait 1B – Wait time between Assessment Centre referral date and surgeon consult date
- Wait 1 – Wait time between Central Intake referral date and surgeon consult date
- Wait 2 – Wait time between decision to treat date and Surgery date
