About the Diagnostic Imaging Efficiency Dashboard

The Diagnostic Imaging Efficiency Performance Dashboard provides recent and historical data on patient wait times and the operational efficiency of MRI and CT scanners across the province at the site, sub-regional, regional and provincial levels. Utilizing data from the Wait Time Information System, as well as manual Excel submissions from two facilities, the dashboard serves as a tool for evaluating system performance and identifying opportunities for optimization in scheduling practices, human resource allocation, staffing, and scanner capacity planning. The goal is to enhance access to diagnostic imaging services while maintaining high standards of patient care.
