The Your Voice Matters (YVM) Report provides a descriptive view of the YVM surveys collected by Ontario Health (Cancer Care Ontario) since the launch of the redesigned YVM survey on December 4, 2023. This report is updated monthly and is designed for Regional Cancer Centres (RCC) and participating partner facilities to view data for the YVM surveys collected up to the end of the previous calendar month.
This report measures YVM administration and data collection at all participating facilities (e.g. number of patients prompted to complete the YVM, number of patients who completed a survey at least once, etc.) and provides insight into cancer patient experience for the duration of their care within the Regional Cancer Program. To support participating facilities in their implementation of the YVM survey, this report is refreshed monthly to present regional partners with an overview on the current state of their YVM data collection and the reported experience of patients who have received outpatient care at their sites. The report aims to empower RCCs and participating partner facilities to implement and measure the impact of quality improvement initiatives that enhance patient experience and improve outcomes. The measures and indicators in this report will also enable Ontario Health (Cancer Care Ontario) to utilize the data for provincial benchmarking and guide targeted quality improvements.
