OLIS-MORE General Test requisition (e-Ordering) Limited Production Release (LPR) is a project with Ontario Health (OH) and the eHealth Centre of Excellence (eCE), under a Transfer Payment Agreement. During this project, a small group of labs and referring clinicians will trial sending electronic lab requisitions for a period of six to eight months, during that time, this dashboard will capture Key Performance Indicators to measure the benefits, impact of lab e-ordering.
The LPR will be helpful in the development and execution of digital and technical applications in the digital health realm but also in the larger technology sector. Benefits include validating the idea’s feasibility and practicality and proving the idea is worth further provincial deployment. The LPR provides the opportunity to evaluate the innovation and the technology – both particularly important when deciding the future state of the project.
This PowerBI dashboard is expected to contribute to the evaluation of the LPR for OH and eCE to measure and understand the organizational, clinical, and economic values enabled through e-Ordering. .
