The Cancer System Activity Report is updated monthly and includes information from Activity Level Reporting (ALR) on the total number of cancer cases, visits, and treatment activity. This is a self-service report where the user specifies the required indicators and stratification(s) and a tabular view of this information is created.
All historic data from FY 1997/98 onwards is available, subject to a two-month reporting lag. Data from all participating sites who submit data to ALR are included in the report. This report includes indicators from the DCA999 (Radiation and Systemic Activity) report in iPort.
The purpose of the Cancer System Activity Report is to provide the necessary information for performance management, capacity planning, and quality improvement initiatives. The report contains information on patient characteristics, cancer case volumes, and appointment or treatment volumes within Regional Cancer Programs. Users can select the indicator(s) and stratification(s) of interest and view a tabular summary for the query of interest.
